COMPLEX COMMUNICATION PROGRAM FOR LARGE HOSPITAL SYSTEM

Develop a visual communication strategy and program for a multi-site hospital

Navigating Complex Communication
Multi-million dollar switch to electronic medical records system requires communication throughout multi-hospital, outpatient and clinic sites.
Swedish Medical Center is one of Seattle's largest hospital systems with thousands of doctors, nurses, clinicians, administrators and staff spread out over 4 main campuses, and hundreds of outpatient facilities and clinics. So, when the system decided to switch to a system-wide EMR, a complex set of communication strategy, rollout and adoption initiatives had to be created to successfully implement the 3-year project. The resulting images take you through initial creative story-boarding (to develop the communication program's theme, style, & tone) all the way through the beginning stages of communication materials. The logo and name for this program were already in place when I was hired.
