A dear friend of mine donates her valuable time to organize and run a very sophisticated auction benefitting the sports program of a local high school each year. I have donated design time to promote the auction for the past three years, and it's been so rewarding. Each year, in a down economy, the auction manages to raise over $30,000 for school sports. The spirit in the crowd is lively and it's just a great evening.
